STOP AT :: METROPOLITAIN, HAMBURG

by

It’s crazy how many new spots have opened in Hamburg in the past year. Only in my old neighborhood I have counted 7 new stores and restaurants. I wish I could cover all of them, but it would take the next 3 months of writing about new openings. One of the new spots that caught my eye was  the Métropolitain in Eppendorf. Lovely Elodie from Madame Love recommended this one. Métropolitain is a french inspired café owned by two friends, Melody and Ulrike. This cute spot is a mix of all good things you need to treat yourself: wine bar, café, patisserie, french products and delicious food. The interior is simple but inviting; lots of white and black with rustic accents. My first thought was, this space would be perfect for some blogger meet ups or workshops. Not too big, not too small with plenty of natural light. Hope to gather some friends here when I’m next time in Hamburg. Until then, my German friends, check out this cute new french oasis in the Hamburg.
For up dates and news follow Métropolitain on facebook. What do you think, does every city needs a french spot? I say, YES!

    Hi Ana,

    the Métropolitain café looks beautiful! I have to check it out, thanks for sharing. I love your photos and the blog is really pretty and interesting – I can’t wait until I have some more time (when the baby is sleeping) to click through the older posts!

    Liebste Grüße aus der Schanze,

    You captured this space perfectly! I definitely agree with you: every place needs a French spot. The natural light is gorgeous, and my favorite is that shot of the Perrier bottles. Sooo pretty!
