This month I’m going to participate in the bloomy online challenge #2flowergirls. Started by the lovely ladies, Elodie of Madame Love and Inga of Glomerylane, #2flowergirls is a monthly challenge where the two girls pick out a flower, make a unique flower arrangement on their own and share them on their blogs. This challenge is open to everyone who loves flowers. You can write a post yourself, you can also just take some nice pictures and share them on instagram, twitter or facebook. Don’t forget to use #2flowergirls. For more details, check out Elodie’s post here. This month’s flower is Dahlia. How could it be otherwise. Dahlias are the peonies of the fall. There are so diverse, they come in all colors and shapes. And I always wonder how something can be so perfect. I just took some pictures at the Dahlia Garden in San Francisco’s Golden Gate park and couldn’t stop looking at them. Dahlia is the official flower of San Francisco, so she definitely deserves a whole garden. So, I’m not going to make a flower arrangement I want to show you the beauty of this garden. It one of the most photographed spots in the GG Park. So enjoy and then go buy some for yourself, that’s what I did after the shoot.
