Friends, I hope you all had a good start into the new year and you are ready to kick it off inspired and motivated with notebooks full of goals and good resolutions. I personally was never a big NYE fan in terms of preparing for a big party – I like it more casual at home wearing comfortable shoes. Our plan for this year was to celebrate with friends at Lake Tahoe in a rental house, but on our arrival day I was knocked out by a bad food poisoning that I had to spend the night in the ER. Not nice, but we stayed in Tahoe and with a
little big help of my darling husband our mini vacation wasn’t that bad at all. Back at home, feeling much better now I still have to be careful what I’m eating and I want to convert this ugly food poisoning into an opportunity to finally start eating more healthier. Sounds like a cheesy new years resolution, but since we are here In San Francisco I have gained 8kg means 17lb!!! I never weight myself, I always go with how I feel when it comes to my weight and I sure have recognized that some of my pants pinch a bit and I know that I had way to many muffins and fries and less work outs but the concrete number was reviled by the ER weight scale. So it’s definitely time to cut off the empty calories and get in shape, not only because of the pinching pants, but more because of the better, healthier feeling. Hopefully this resolution will turn into a habit.
And how about you? Are you a resolution maker? I have never been one, but I might take some time this week to sort out mine for this year. Whether you have some or not I wish you all an amazing, joyful, bright and happy new year!
