I have been seeing this place all over the Insagram lately and friends were dreaming about their sandwiches. That meant I had to check out Wise Sons Jewish Delicatessen myself. Looking but couldn’t finding a good Jewish deli here in SF, friends Leo and Evan, opened one on their own in the Mission in 2012. By collecting and improving their family recipes they created a menu worth waiting in the lines. The interior is pretty simple, but with lots of eye catching family portraits on the walls that makes Wise Sons feel so homey. When I was taking this pictures, a friend canceled our date spontaneously, so I didn’t get to try any of their delicatessen, but I will definitely be back for some pastrami sandwiches. And if you don’t feel like going to the Mission you can enjoy their food also at SF’s Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market on Tuesday and Contemporary Jewish Museum.
