highway-one-top Last weekend we drove the Highway One down to Ojai ( post coming soon) and each and every time I’m just enchanted by the piece of land this road wriggles itself along. Highways One make me feel free, make me dream about the feature, it makes me relaxed and it let’s me forget the everyday life. Even on foggy days I love driving along. I know, where ever ocean meets land a continent ends, but here on Highway One you can feel the the power of those two elements coming together. It almost feels like a game when waves are crashing against the cliffs.  For the first time we saw some really big waves. The sound of breaking waves is so loud, yet so soothing. We spend one hour only sitting at the beach and watching the waves and for a second you could tell the world stops spinning. I’m not a super esoteric person, but Highway One has this impact on me. Even if we are only driving to Half Moon Bay I feel so happy when the freeways turns into the Highway One and the ocean makes appearance. So for the weekend I will leave you with some Highways One moments I captured over the last two years, so you can do some wanderlust dreaming, too.

Have a lovely weekend dears. highway-one-17 highway-one-2 highway-one-1 highway-one-15 highway-one-14 highway-one-3 highway-one-13 highway-one-8 highway-one-10 highway-one-7 highway-one-6 highway-one-9 highway-one-16 highway-one-11
