And it’s on! Spring is officially here and what better way to celebrate the blossoming season than with some urban jungle friends and a new challenge. If you are wondering what I’m talking about, see this post for more details. In one sentence: fellow bloggers Igor and Judith are challenging us each month with a new theme around all things plants. If you want to be part if it, check out their blogs or the Urban Jungle Bloggers Facebook group. Tons of green inspiration is awaiting you.
This month’s theme is to create a fresh, Easter vignette. I had a completely another idea than the one you are seeing here, but I’m really happy how my small green Easter garden turned out. I wanted to create something airy, with lots of white, using some succulents and organic shaped pots. The pot is actually a crate & barrel bowl and it fits perfect. It was also important that I can move my vignette easily around without being afraid of destroying it. Best thing it can hold on long after Easter. That’s the good thing about using plants, especially succulents or cacti – no need to invest too much effort. I hope you like my vignette and now hop over to the Facebook page, get inspired and see what the urban jungle folks have created. Happy spring!
