I told you that I’m totally into hiking now. I could go for a hike everyday. After even a small hike my body feels so energized, my thoughts get decluttered, I get motivated to keep up the healthy living and inspired to create and work on new things. We try to get out of the city as often as we can, but making a zip car reservation for a weekend can be a tricky task. The good thing is that even here in SF there are so many great places you can go for a hike and feel like you are somewhere out in the wildness. And there are other places less wild , but enough to give you a great work out and reward you with some amazing views. That’s why I have created a list of all SF hills and paths to hike/walk, trying to check off one per week. So last Saturday we went to the Billy Goat Hill Park which is located in Noe Valley and easy to reach with the bus line 24. We had fun with the two swings somebody hang up on the tree and took bunch of pictures. But between us, it’s so not easy to hold the rope with your hands. I had to call Patrick several times for help to help me down. But don’t tell anybody. What counts is that you can make really cool pictures on the swing with the city in the background. After our small photo session we walked all the way to the Bernal Heights, which is not really all the way, it’s more like 20 minutes stroll through Noe Valley and Bernal Heights. When you clime up the Bernal Heights you will get one of the most breathtaking views of San Francisco. I don’t know how about you, but I just love capturing these moments to remember but also to share with others so they can get inspired to try out something new. My latest app of choice for collection and sharing my adventures is Steller. This digital storytelling app is perfect to capture and create personal stories whether it’s about travel, food, design or what ever you like. Steller, which is also beautifully, magazine-like designed, allows you to add photos, text and videos to your stories to create small, fun digital albums you have always with you. Those albums are added to collections you define yourself. And you can also republish other peoples stories to your own collections in case you find a great guide to Paris or a super easy cake recipe to have on hand. For me Steller is the perfect mix between Instagram, where I share only 1-2 pictures of my everyday life and creating a printed photo album which I unfortunately never do. Steller allows me to capture more moments, to combine them and have a nice visual track of things I have done. You should definitely give it a try. And you can click on the images below to see some of my stories. Download Steller here. Would love to hear your thoughts on this new fun app.
