This post wasn’t scheduled for today, but I cannot wait to share this super cute kitchen supplies online store with you named Mignon. I hardly remember when it was but I discovered this store already back in Germany, unfortunately it slipped out of my mind somehow. The reason I rediscovered it again was that I was looking for some local tips for our Seattle stay and found the lovely blog Elephantine which is written by Rachel Ball. Rachel shares snippets of her daily inspiration combined with delicious recipes and tips about her city. One truly impressive column on her blog is “fiction friday”. This column is dedicated to fictional short stories penned by Rachel herself. I read some of them and cannot wait to read more when I’m back in San Francisco. But let’s go back to shop Mignon…
Since 2012 Rachel has complied a line of kitchen goods every foodie heart would crave for. Measuring spoons, cookie cutters, tea infusers, cup cake wrappers and so on, I don’t want to anticipate your stroll pleasure, go and see yourself.
Beside the kitchen shop, Rachel also has a jewelry shop on Etsy and she sells some of her photos over at Society6. Oh, and did I mentioned that she is aspiring novelist. Yep, she is…pretty smart and talented lady. Now go and visit all her shops (1,2,3), watch her recipe videos (why cannot all recipes be like this) and read her stories. But be aware, you will probably spend a lot time browsing it, as I did.
Have fun and sunny greetings from Seattle!
